Previously, time slots were needed to watch the acts, however, with all gathering limits being lifted for venues on Canada Day across Alberta, everyone is invited to attend. Along with those performances in the park, the splash park, playground and other amenities will be open.

Due to the risk of inclement weather forecasted for the Grande Prairie area on Canada Day, the City announced on June 30 that it will be moving the Plaza Rock performances at the H. Rice Plaza to inside at the Bowes Events Centre.
